    Zn (OH) ₂ + SnO₂⇄ ZnSnO₃ + H₂O

In this reaction, nothing is oxidised, nor is anything reduced.

oxidation number of Zn in Zn (OH) ₂ is + 2,

oxidation number of Zn in ZnSnO₃ is also + 2.

oxidation number of Sn in SnO₂ is + 4,

oxidation number of Sn in ZnSnO₃ is also + 4.

Oxidation no of oxygen and hydrogen also remains unchanged at - 2 and + 1

    respectively.

So it is not a redox reaction.
