    Every solution is composed of a solvent and at least one Solute.

    Explanation:

    Solutions are made up of at least two or more substances. Solutions are Homogeneous uniform mixtures. They are mainly composed of two parts.

    A) A part of Solution which is in excess and large amount is called as Solvent.

    B) A part of Solution which is in less amount is called as Solute.

    Example:

    When Salt is dissolved in water it forms a clear homogeneous mixture. In his solution water is solvent while salt is solute.
