Entropy is the thermal energy that is unavailable for humans to do useful work. human system normally progress from disorder to order. This entropy interferes with humans day to day activities. Once this energy is consumed it is converted from one form to another and it is the tax paid for those energies. It is the continuous dissipation of energy. For example if 1000J of energy is consumed, and nature take part of it, 900J is available for work.
