    Explanation:

    LiI comprises Li, a small highly polarizing positive ion and I-, a highly polarizable negative ion which tends towards covalent bond formation according to Fajan's rules hence may not be soluble in water. Benzene and hexane are organic substances which aren't soluble I water.
