Where the autotroph obtain the reactant for photosynthesis

    It's in the word photosynthesis. Photo means light. Therefore, an autotroph obtains light from the Sun, water and nutrients from the soil, and carbon dioxide from the air to complete photosynthesis to produce Adenosine Triphosphate or ATP, the cell's energy source for cellular respiration.
