A sample of helium has a volume of 3 liters when the pressure is 500 kPa. What volume does the gas occupy at 300 kPa?

    Explanation:

    P1 = 500kPa, V1 = 3L, P2 = 300kPa, V2=?

    Applying Boyle's law

    P1V1=P2V2

    (500*3) = (300*V2)

    V2 = 5L
