How many grams of sodium hydroxide are produced from 3.0 mol of sodium

    2Na + 2H₂O ⇒ 2NaOH + H₂

    n (Na) : n (NaOH) = 2:2, n (NaOH) = n (Na) = 3mol

    m (NaOH) = n·M = 3mol · 40g/mol (molar mass, 23+16+1) = 120g.
