How do sedimentary rock form?

    Sedimentary rocks are made from dirt, dust, bones of dead see animals etc and over a very very long period of time all these things get squished together and due to pressure over a long period of time sedimentary rock is formed. Hope that answers you question!

    Sedimentary rocks are formed when sediment is deposited out of air, ice, wind, gravity, or water flows carrying the particles in suspension. This sediment is often formed when weathering and erosion break down a rock into loose material in a source area.
