1. How many moles of O2 are needed to react completely with 8 moles of CO?

    I'd say that the answer is four, since the ratio of CO to O2 is 2:1 (in other words the equation shows that for 2CO there is only one O2 molecule). If you have 8 moles of CO, apply the ratio we previously worked out. You should find that for every 8 moles of CO you need 4 moles of O2.
