    Statement A is correct.

    We no nothing about the states from the equation so it can not be C or D (plus the state will not determine if it is a product or reactant).

    CaCl2 is a product because it is written on the right hand of the equation so B is false.

    CaCO3 is a reactant as it is written on the left-hand side of the equation and is there fore a reactant, making statement A the correct answer.
