The Pressure of N₂O is 1.48 atm

    Explanation:

    Given:

Gas samples containing NO, N₂O, NO₂.

Total pressure of the gas mixture = 4.68 atm.

The pressure of NO = 501.6 mm Hg.

The pressure of NO₂ = 2.54 atm.

    To Find:

    The Pressure of N₂O

    Solution:

Total pressure = Pressure of NO + Pressure of NO₂ + Pressure of N₂O

So pressure of N₂O = Total pressure - (Pressure of NO + Pressure of NO₂)

    = 4.68 atm - (0.66 atm + 2.54 atm)

    = 4.68 atm - 3.2 atm

    = 1.48 atm

Thus the Pressure of N₂O is 1.48 atm
