Freezing a substances makes the molecules move slower, melting a substances makes the molecules move faster

    Explanation:

Freezing a substance for example a ice cube. the molecules are in a smaller space and unable to move around as much. Melting a substances lets say you place the icecube under heat on a plate. The molecules are getting heat and on a plate allowing them to spread out. More heat applied to the molecule allows them to move faster.
