    moles = volume/molar volume (Vm) n (H2O) = 12.4 / (Vm) n (CH4) = n (H2O) * 0.5 = 6.2/Vm V (CH4) = 6.4/Vm * Vm = 6.2L

    15.5 g K (1 mol / 39.10 g K) (1 mol Cl2 / 2 mol K) (22.4 L Cl2 / 1 mol Cl2) = 4.44 L Cl2

    2. The balanced chemical reaction is:

    CH4 (g) + 2 O2 (g) yields CO2 (g) + 2 H2O (g)

    12.4 L H2O (1 mol H2O / 22.4L H2O) (1 mol CH4 / 2 mol H2O) (22.4 L CH4 / 1 mol CH4) = 6.2 L CH4
