When the temperature of a 3.0 L sample of a gas is dropped from 200°C to 100°C what will be the final volume of the gas sample

    Charles' Law states: V1/T1=V2/T2

    So you have:

    3.0L/200°C=xL/100°C

    xL = (3.0L/200°C) * 100°C

    xL=1.5L
