The density of ethanol at 20 C is 0.791 g/mL. How many milliliters of ethanol correspond to 12.0 g of ethanol at 20 C?

    Density = mass/volume. Density of ethanol = 0.79 g/mL. Mass of ethanol = 12g. We seek to calculate the volume of ethanol at 20 degrees. The milliliters of ethanol which is also the same as volume of ethanol = mass/density = 12/0.79 = 15.18mL.
