    242 mg of cholesterol is present in 100 mL of blood. If the total blood present in a body is 5.2 L The total body cholesterol can be calculated as follows:

    First calculate concentration as follows:

    C=/frac{m}{V}=/frac{242 mg}{100 mL}=/frac{242 g}{100 L}=2.42 g/L

    Now, total volume is 5.2 L thus, mass will be calculated as follows:

    m=C*V=2.42 g/L*5.2 L=12.584 g

    Thus, the grams of blood cholesterol in human body will be 12.584 g.
