    P = 138.64 atm

    Explanation:

    Given dа ta:

    Volume of helium = 1.2 L

    Number of moles = 6.8 mol

    Temperature = 25°C (25+273 = 298 K)

    Pressure of gas = ?

    Solution:

    Formula:

    PV = nRT

    R = general gas constant = 0.0821 atm. L / mol. K

    P = nRT/V

    P = 6.8 mol * 0.0821 atm. L / mol. K * 298 K / 1.2 L

    P = 166.4 atm / 1.2

    P = 138.64 atm
