The concentration of hydrogen ions in a certain aqueous solution is 1.0 * 10-4 M. Calculate the concentration of the hydroxide ion

    [H+}=10^-4

    [OH-] = ?

    Kw=[H+][OH-]

    kw at 25 c is 10^-14

    so

    10^-14=10^-4[OH-]

    10^-10=[OH-]

    [OH-]=10^-10
