    M = mol solute / L solution

    mol solute = M * L solution

    mol solute = (5.01 x 10^-4 M * 8.5 L)

    mol solute = 4.26 x 10^3 mol HClO4

    1 mol HClO4 - > 100. 4 g

    4.26 x 10^3 mol HClO4 - > x

    x=0.427 g HClO4
