    We can use the ideal gas law equation to find the temperature,

    PV = nRT

    where

    P - pressure - 177 kPa

    V - volume 1.00 x 10⁻³ m³

    n - number of moles - 2.08 mol

    R - universal gas constant - 8.314 Jmol⁻¹K⁻¹

    T - temperature

    substituting these values in the equation

    177 x 10³ Pa x 1.00 x 10⁻³ m³ = 2.08 mol x 8.314 Jmol⁻¹K⁻¹ x T

    T = 10.2 K

    temperature in celsius - 10.2 - 273 = - 262.8 °C
