There is no actual documentation of the first person who discovered crystals as they have been around since the formation of the Earth. but, Agust Bravais was one of the very first cryptologists. Although this is the case, the very first crystals are said to be discovered deep within the caves of Africa. Nicolas Steno first discovered how quartz crystals were formed.
