a. Write the balanced chemical equation for the reaction,

    a)

    HCl + NaOH - > NaCl + H2O

    b)

    M = mol solute / L solution

    mol NaOH = M * L solution mol NaOH = 0.250 M * 0.0584L =

    0.0146 mol NaOH

    mol NaOH = mol HCl

    M = mol HCl / L solution

    M = 0.0146 mol HCl/0.02 L M = 0.73
