    The volume of 0.540m NaOH solution that contains 15.5 g of NaOH is calculated as follows

    volume = moles/molarity

    find moles of NaOH = mass/molar mass

    = 15.5 g / 40 g/mol = 0.3875 moles

    volume is therefore = 0.3875 / 0.540 = 0.72 Liters

    The volume is in liters since molarity in mole per liter
