The compound manganese (II) bromide is a strong electrolyte. Write the transformation that occurs when solid manganese (II) bromide dissolves in water.

    MgBr₂ (s) + H₂O → Mg⁺² + 2Br⁺¹

    Explanation:

    The Magnesium bromide is strong electrolyte

    In water it dissociate into its ions.

    As being strong electrolyte it completely dissociates into its ions upon dissolution in water it converts in : one Magnesium ion and 2 bromide ions

    MgBr₂ (s) + H₂O → Mg⁺² + 2Br⁺¹

    This is the only transformation occur when we dissolve MgBr₂ in water that it convert to ions from solid.
