Use the periodic table to determine the number of electrons in a neutral atom of lithium

    Ok so if the atom is neutral it means that there is the same amount of positive and negative atoms which cancel each other out making it neutral so the atomic number of Lithium is equal to the number of protons in the atom meaning that the atom has a total of 3 electrons.
