M (HgCl) = 200.59+35.45=236.04 g/mol
Real molar mass ((HgCl) x) = 472.2 g/mol
x*236.04 = 472.2
x = 472.2/236.04 ≈ 2
Molecular formula is (HgCl) 2 or Hg2Cl2.
Molecular formula is Hg2Cl2.
