What best describes the function of a centrifuge?

    It's is a heavy machine that spins test tubes at high speed. The centrifugal force pulls particles to the bottom of the test tubes and starts separating parts of a colloid. It is used to separate blood cells from the plasma. They are used in separating any substances.
