    Answer: 250 steps

    Explanation:

    The data we were given;

    When Andrew walks 3 steps; Jeffrey walks 5 steps to catch up

    That's is to say

    Andrew's 3 steps = Jeffrey's 5 steps

    Now Andrew's 150 steps = Jeffrey's X steps

    So we have to find the number of steps (X) Jeffrey would have to take to catch up with Andrew.

    3 = 5

    150 = X

    3X = 150 * 5

    X = (150 * 5) / 3

    X = 750 / 3

    X = 250

    Therefore Jeffrey would need 250 steps to catch up with Andrew.
