When you tip a syrup bottle upside down, it takes a long time for all the syrup to move down. Explain this, using the ideas of viscosity, cohesion, and adhesion.

    Viscosity means being thick and sticky due to internal friction. This describes the syrup. Cohesion is the syrup molecules sticking to each other and causing the internal friction. Adhesion is the syrup molecules sticking to the bottle.
