In which state of matter do molecules have the lowest kinetic energy?

    A solid doesn't have much movement because the particles are all close together and only slight vibrate. in a liquid the particles are fairly separated and move at a constant pace. and in a gas the particles are far apart and move very fast.

    Because in a solid, the particles are closely held, and are squished together, that would be the answer. It has less movement than other states.
