How do the surface area and volume of a rock affect the rate at which the rock weathers

    The weathering rates of the rock whose surface areas are larger are more exposed to the agents of weathering and hence will weather more.

    The volume of the rock indicates mass and density d=m/v so we can see that higher the mass and lower the density will increase the weathering of rock
