    b) V sln = 0.1192 L

    Explanation:

    molarity (M) [=] mol solute / L solution

    ∴ mol solute = 0.261 mol

    a) C AlCl = 0.281 M

    ⇒ V sln = (0.261 mol) * (L sln/0.281 mol)

    ⇒ V sln = 0.9288 L

    b) C HCl = 2.19 M

    ⇒ V sln = (0.261 mol) * (L/2.19 mol)

    ⇒ V sln = 0.1192 L
