At 0oc, what is the state or states of the water in the beaker?

    It depends on the progress of melting as to which phase it is.

    If they use the word "water" and say "water at 0 Celsius", what they mean is liquid water.

    If they use the word "ice" and say "ice at 0 Celsius", what they mean is solid water ice.

    At 0ºC the water is presented in its solid state.

    Explanation:

    On the celcius temperature scale (ºC), water appears in its solid state when the temperature reaches 0ºC, that is, the water turns to ice. On that same scale, water starts to enter its gaseous state, when the temperature reaches 100ºC.

    In this process, we can see that at lower temperatures the water starts its solidification process and at high temperatures, it starts the boiling process.
