    = 305.911 g CO2

    Explanation;

    The equation for the reaction;

    Fe2O3 + 3 CO → 2 Fe + 3 CO2

    mole ratio;

    3 mol CO2 are formed from 1 mole of Fe2O3

    Moles of Fe2O3 = (370 g Fe2O3) / (159.6887 g Fe2O3/mol)

    = 2.317 Moles

    Moles of CO2

    = 2.317 * (3 mol CO2 / 1 mol Fe2O3) = 6.951 moles

    Therefore;

    = 6.951 moles * (44.00964 g CO2/mol) = 305.911 g CO2

    =305.911 g CO2
