A hypothesis is like an educated guess in a way. an example of a hypothesis would be, "I think that if I use fertilizer my plants will grow faster." Then you would proceed to do the experiment and test your hypothesis and then you would find the conclusion like " using fertilizer doesn't/does affect the growth of a plant"
