    The temperature in K is 503.84 K

    calculation

    The temperature in K is calculated using the ideal gas equation.

    That is Pv = nRT

    where

    p (pressure) = 6.7 atm

    V (volume) = 14.2 l

    n (number of moles) = 2.3 moles

    R (gas constant) = 0.0821 atm. L/K. mol

    T (temperature) = ? K

    make T the subject of the formula by diving both side of equation by nR

    T = PV/nR

    T = [ (6.7 atm x 14.2 l) / (2.3 moles x0.0821 atm. l/k. mol) ] = 503.84 K
