In a calorimeter, 6.68 kJ of heat was absorbed by 20 g of ice. What is the enthalpy of fusion of the ice? q=m∆ahf

    Using the enthalpy of fusion formula we have:

    q=mlHf

    q=6.68 or 6680 J, m = 20 we need to find lHf

    6680 = (20) (lHf)

    lHf=6680/20

    lHf = 334J/g
