A calorimiter measures the specific heat of an object, and normally it is filled with water with a known tempurature then an object is put into the water then the new tempurature is measured

you need a thermometer and an insulating cup (coffie cup)

water is normally 25 C at room tempurature aprox so

then use water's specific heat per amount of liquid

    so the answer is D

I think it would be D. It uses the mass and specific heat of water along with a thermometer to measure the gain or loss of energy when a substance is added.

Calorimeter measures energy by measuring the change in temperature of a known material
