    C2H4 + 3O2 = ? CO2 + 2H2O

The number of CO2 molecule s that are needed to balance the equation are

    two (2)

    that is C2H4 + 3O2 = 2CO2 + 2H2O

1 molecule of ethane (C2H4) is burned in presence of oxygen to form 2 molecules of carbon (iv) oxide (CO20 and 2 molecules of water (H2O)
