Which atom would tend to lose one valence electron to another another atom in order to become stable?

    Group I or Alkali metal atoms would tend to lose 1 valence electron in order to become more stable and achieve a stable octet or noble has configuration and transfer it to another atom, that would need the valence electron to have a full octet.
