    Explanation;

    The reaction between iron and dilute sulfuric acid gives a salt and hydrogen gas. (iron (ii) sulfate and hydrogen gas).

    The equation for the reaction is;

    Fe (s) + H2SO4 (aq) = FeSO4 (aq) + H2 (g)
