    Charle's Law states that volume and temperature have an inverse relationship.

    V/T = k

    where k is some constant

    We can use this to solve our question

    V₁/T₁ = k = V₂/T₂

    V₁/T₁ = V₂/T₂

    1000 mL = 1 L

    1L/500K = V₂/250K

    V₂ = 0.5 L = 500 mL

    The correct answer is C. 500 mL
