    Physical change only affects the physical form of a substance, but not its actual chemical composition, or what it's made of.

    An example is when you freeze water. When you freeze water, it becomes ice. The physical change turns the liquid water to a solid ice. However, ice is still water because the chemical composition has not been changed.
