Why does blue let scatter more easily that red?

    Blue light waves are shorter than red light waves. Sunlight reaches Earth's atmosphere and is scattered in all directions by all the gases and particles in the air ... Blue is scattered more than other colors because it travels as shorter, smaller waves.

    It scatters more because red has a longer wavelength than blues wavelength.
