    The compound, HClO4, dissociates into H + and ClO4 - when dissolved in water. The pH of the solution is the negative logarithm of the concentration of H + in molar. The concentration of H + from the solution is also 2.6M.

    pH = - log[2.6]

    pH = - 0.415
