How many moles of ethyl alcohol, C2H6O, are in a 37.0 g sample?

    The answer is 0.80 Mol C2H6O is in a 37.0 g sample. To do this take Carbon and times its average atomic mass by 2, do the same for hydrogen and Oxygen. Then add the answers together. Then put it into the equation (37.0 C2H6O) * (1 mol C2H6O/46.02 C2H6O) = 0.80 mol C2H6O
