    Another significant difference is that the female reproductive system produces only one egg per month during a woman's reproducive years. This translates to only several hundred eggs produced during her lifetime. The male reproductive has literally millions of sperm cells available daily, as opposed to a single egg per month.

    The most significant difference would be that male reproductive system is outside of the body because the creation of sperm need to be controlled at a specific temperature, while the female reproductive system is inside a female body. They are similar because they both have a organ that produces the actual sex cell and there's a tube that it will travel through.
