The nervous and the muscular system interacts as follows Receptors in the muscles [provide the brain with information about the body position and movement. The brain send signal back down the spinal cord directed to the location of desired muscle The ultimate effect of this signals is the acetylcholine is released onto the muscle fibers which target nicotinic cholinergic receptors which open ion channel that cause the muscle to contract.
