A small sack of sand has a density of 1.5g/cm^3 and a mass of 1500 g. how much space does the sand company occupy?

    Space basically means the volume as the volume of an object is the amount of space it occupies.

    Thus you will use the formula: Density = mass / volume

    Volume = mass / density

    V = 1500 / 1.5

    V = 1000 cm^3
