    Explanation:

    According the cavalieri's principle, any two geometrical shapes have equal volume only when -

    a) They have equal height

    b) They have same cross sectional area between the parallel lines

    For example - In case of two triangular shapes in which the base have equal lengths and lies between two parallel lines with same height, then triangles have equal area and if a prism is carved of these triangular bases, then the volume of triangular prism formed will be equal.
